Un nuevo reto para todos

Abstract

Dear colleagues: I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as a member of the Spanish Society of Nephrological Nurses and to be available to you for anything you may need. As you have seen, since the beginning of the years we have set up several projects in which I would like you to participate, as your collaboration is essential for all of them. The first one is directly related to the magazine Enfermería Nefrológica, which is one of the standards of our society. In the last assembly it was decided that the magazine will adopt the electronic format adapting to the new times and it is sent punctually to the members for their consultation, besides being available through the web page of the magazine. The magnificent work that has been carried out by the magazine's management has given us the opportunity to propose greater goals. The possibility of establishing an agreement with Latin American nursing societies could make us the reference journal in Spanish for Nephrological Nursing and as such, we should aspire to enter the main database of medical journals such as Medline. This is a medium to long term project, which will involve a lot of work and effort on everyone's part but whose result will benefit both the authors and society as it will increase our visibility at an international level. For these reasons, we have made changes to the journal's editorial board and have launched the peer review platform.
